‘Envisioning the City of the Future: Making the Invisible Visible’ competition

REGISTRATIONS OPEN on 28 February \ SUBMISSIONS by 15 May \ FINAL AWARD on 20 June

The ‘Envisioning the City of the Future’ competition is an initiative by the Urban Simulation Laboratory Fausto Curti (labsimurb), which is a leader in the Sharing Cities co-design process in ‘lighthouse’ city Milan.

Chiming in with the Sharing Cities values and objectives, and especially with the project’s underlying goal of making cities smarter and more liveable through citizen engagement and participation, the organisers invite participants to imagine and design the city of the future.

How will smart and sharing cities look like in the future? How will these changes affect people’s lives in cities? Should we promote the idea and projected benefits of a sharing society?

Application and eligibility:

This international competition is open to students, graduates, and professionals. The participation fee is €30 per group (which has to have a designated leader). Individuals are also eligible to apply. For more information: http://bit.ly/2mwPEey and http://www.circulareconomyclub.com/circular-cities-event-milan/
