SCIS podcast hits the airwaves with bi-directional charging

Smart cities have found their voice! ‘Urban Reverb’, the first European smart cities podcast series, is brought to you by the Smart Cities Information System (SCIS). The monthly podcast Urban Reverb will interview the people ranging from politicians to engineers who are turning the smart cities dream into a reality. This new podcast will spread insights on how innovative smart measures work – or don’t work – on the ground.

The first podcast has just been released and focusses on bi-directional charging, or vehicle-to-grid (V2G), in Amsterdam, Utrecht and Helsinki. You can find it on SCIS, a knowledge platform aimed at creating and upscaling smart cities to provide a high quality of life for its citizens in a clean, energy efficient and climate friendly urban environment.

Launched with support from the European Commission, SCIS brings together experience, know how, indicators and stories from completed, ongoing and future Commission funded projects in the fields of energy, mobility, transport and ICT.
