Webinar on online community engagement platform - Commonplace

13/12/2018 - 13/12/2018 (Webinar - online)

The Sharing Cities programme will host a webinar on Commonplace, an online engagement platform on 13th December 2018, 15:00-16:00 (CET, Brussels time).

Commonplace is helping the Sharing Cities programme in the Royal Borough of Greenwich to understand the community’s needs regarding a range of smart city pilots that are being rolled out as part of the programme, such as retrofit programmes and electric vehicle lamppost charging.

By making local participation easy, Commonplace reaches wider audiences and provides real-time dashboards to see ‘the heartbeat’ of an area. It is one tool being used for resident engagement and co-design to ensure that smart city solutions meet the needs of the community, and are able to encourage sustainable behaviour change.
