The European Union funding programme LIFE has recently published the 2018 calls for project proposal. This year around 400 millions is now available for projects on nature conservation and climate mitigation and adaptation.
A streamlined application process, for the environment calls under the “traditional projects” has also been introduced, to facilitate access to LIFE funds. A webinar was organised on 28 May from 14:00 to 15:30 (CET, Brussels time) to give more details about those calls.
During this webinar Bernd Decker, from EASME, the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, and Jelena Milos, from the European Commission Directorate for Climate, presented the calls and lessons learnt from the previous round of applications on how to develop a successful project proposal.
Particular focus will be given to the call for proposals dedicated to the climate component of LIFE.
A recording of the webinar is available here: https://www.covenantofmayors.eu/support/library.html
The objective of this webinar is to present the 2018 LIFE calls, the simplified application process for the environment related call under traditional projects, in addition to few dos and donts in writing a successful LIFE application.
To get basic information on the LIFE calls, prior to the webinar, you can consult the Covenant of Mayors funding information page at http://www.covenantofmayors.eu/support/funding.html
While registering participants can already submit questions or doubts about the calls. These will be answered during the webinar.
This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement N°691895
