Webinar - Automated vehicles in our cities – how do we involve citizens?

19/06/2018 - 19/06/2018 (Webinar)

Automated vehicles in our cities – how do we involve citizens in a debate about what it will mean?

EUROCITIES is organising a webinar with Missions Publiques for cities interested in engaging citizens in a debate about automated vehicles and what impact they will have on cities, including sustainable urban mobility and safety. This webinar will take place on Tuesday 19 June from 10:00 to 11:00 (CET, Brussels time).

Missions Publiques, an organisation specialised in participatory creation, is preparing to roll out a programme of 25 public debates on automated vehicles from January to March 2019 and are looking for cities interested in hosting the events. Join the webinar to learn more about the programme and how to participate.

The public debates will run in parallel with the negotiations at EU level on the European Commission’s recent proposals on the safe, automated and connected mobility. Outcomes of the public debates will be summarised into a joint report which will be presented to European policy makers in May 2019.
