Francesco Causone, Associate Professor at the Politecnico di Milano and Partner of the Sharing Cites projects, has been invited to give three seminars about his research experience, through which he will depict a vision of Smart City. The seminars will all be held in California during August 2017, and respectively at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), at the ARUP’s office in San Francisco and the Center for the Built Environment (CBE) of the University of California Berkeley.
Dr. Causone’s seminars will include a description of Sharing Cities and its peculiar approach to the topic of the Smart City, discussing lessons learned during the development of the project.
The seminar titles will be:
- The Smart City: where we are and where we might be heading to; at LBNL on the 11th August 2017
- Smart city and smart buildings – a European research perspective; at ARUP on the 14th August 2017
- The assessment of the indoor environment: how systems affect each other’s performance, at UC Berkeley, 28th August 2017
