Indo-European Conference on Standards and Emerging Technology
A huge number of high level bodies are coming together to organise the 3rd Edition of Indo-European Conference on Standards and Emerging Technology on 26th April, 2018 at Hotel The Lalit, New Delhi. At this conference Christophe Colinet, from Bordeaux, follower city in Sharing Cities, will make a presentation in the parallel sessions on ‘ICT covering M2M/IoT & its role in Smart Cities’.
The organisers are the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN) European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation (CENELEC), European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), European Commission’s Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry and Entrepreneurship (DG GROW) and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) in the framework of its Project SESEI along with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
The Indo-European Conference on Standards & Emerging Technology serves as an effective platform for showcasing and presenting the most up to date developments on standards, policies and legislation around emerging technologies.
The Conference is brought together by the European Standards Organisations (CEN, CENELEC, ETSI) along with European Commission (EC) and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) in the framework of its Project SESEI (Seconded European Standardisation Experts in India) and in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
Once again, the topics identified for this 3rd dialogue are consistent with key ongoing technological trends and policy needs for India and Europe. In this 3rd Indo European Conference our focus will be around the three following topics: ICT (M2M/IoT and its role in Smart Cities, Cyber Security), Automotive (ITS and e-mobility), as well as Smart Energy (Smart Grid, Smart Meter, LVDC, Micro Grid and Cyber Security).
The conference will also include the release and presentation of three study reports and updates on the latest global and Indian developments around standardisation, related policies and legislations, gaps and challenges, the way forward etc. These gaps and challenges will be discussed during by the panel and help in defining a roadmap of cooperation.
