After Amsterdam and Copenhagen, Paris will host the 2018 edition of the FabCity Summit.
As the 2017 European Capital of Innovation, the City of Paris is very committed to promoting European cities' best ‘Fabcity’ practices during this 3-day international event.
On the first day, 11 July, the City Hall will host the Fabcity Lab, organised by the city of Paris, dedicated to world city leaders and major public and private urban stakeholders.
Your expertise and the presentation of European local Fabcity initiatives will be essential for the success of this event. The Fabcity Lab is a unique opportunity for European cities to go further on the path to productive, resilient and inclusive cities.
The first step of this event will be to shed light upon European cities’ initiatives during the Fabcity roundtables. 45 minute roundtables will be organised, on 6 themes:
· Energy recovery (data centres etc.)
· Zero waste strategies (food, textiles etc.)
· New materials and techniques to build the city (mud-bricks, re-use and bio-materials etc.)
· Sustainable agriculture (production, logistics, resources etc.)
· Green mobility, urban logistics (autonomous vehicles, soil permeability etc.)
· Smart manufacturing
If you have anything to present on those themes, please answer to the quick survey below before 1st March 2018 to apply: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfNVyZEfDLRwwlTRAffQYtL8LWihKw9lQUF8clzgsWgSig8Qw/viewform?usp=send_form
