The theme of this year's EU Sustainable Energy Week, 4-8 June in Brussels, will be ‘clean energy transition'.
The high point of EUSEW is the annual Policy Conference featuring leading figures and a diverse programme of sessions and side-events aimed at discussing and shaping Europe’s energy future. The call for sessions is open until 5 March.
The Networking Village hosts exhibitions, presentations, a Speakers’ Corner and one-to-one meetings. It is a key feature of the Policy Conference – a place for the EUSEW Community to exchange ideas. The call for activities remains is open until 30 March.
Sharing Cities and other lighthouse projects will be showcased throughout the week in different sessions, presenting the achievements of each project. The interactive exchange with the public will demonstrate how these projects collaborate to ensure smart city solutions are implemented and replicated in many other cities.
Awards for energy-saving initiatives are presented during the Policy Conference. These recognise outstanding innovation and increase projects’ visibility. The call for Awards is open until 5 March.
Further, organised across Europe by public and private organisations, Energy Days encourage citizens and stakeholders to discover and debate the major issues driving the transition to sustainable energy. The sign-up for this will be launched in March.
