CIVITAS Forum Conference 2018

19/09/2018 - 21/09/2018 (Umea)

Over three days from 19-21 September, hundreds of policymakers, city representatives, academics, and practitioners will gather in Umea at the CIVITAS Forum Conference to debate pressing topics surrounding sustainable urban mobility and witness the pioneering solutions bringing cleaner, better transport to Europe.
Mobility for U and Me

This year’s theme, ‘Mobility for u and me’ takes up the growing social dimension of mobility. How can clean, integrated, inclusive, and efficient transport systems be created? Thematic sessions, as well as take-up and transfer sessions, will bring participants together to unearth examples of best practice, successful business models, and proven technologies.

The CIVITAS Politicians Forum, will take place in Umea on Thursday, 20 September, 09:30-12:00, Folkets Hus. The Politicians Forum is the annual meeting of political representatives of the CIVITAS Network’s member cities, as representatives of their citizens. If your city politicians would be keen to participate in the Politicians Forum, please contact directly the organisers.
